Biography

Clark S. Pulliam's practice consists primarily of representing public and private companies, financial institutions, and individual investors in various real estate transactions and financial matters, including the acquisition, development, and sale of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate and other assets. He has experience with forming entities to acquire, own and develop real estate; documenting and negotiating office leases on behalf of landlords and tenants; and negotiating and documenting financial relationships on behalf of borrowers.

Representative Matters

  • Represented purchaser in acquisition and financing of four different commercial office complexes totaling over 400,000 square feet of space in Houston, Texas.

  • Assisted in representation of purchaser in multiple acquisitions of multifamily apartment projects throughout Texas, totaling over 1,100 units.

  • Represented purchaser in acquisition of 86,000 square foot site in Dallas, Texas, for the development of a retail shopping center.

  • Represented asset management company in buyout of partnership interest of publicly traded institutional investor partner.

  • Representing purchaser in acquisition of approximately 2,300 acres in various sites across North Texas to be developed into mixed use (retail, office, residential, and entertainment) developments and power centers.

  • Assisted in representation of purchaser in the acquisition of two skyscrapers in downtown Dallas.

  • Represented several high-profile clients in the purchase of large residential estates in Texas.

  • Represented landlord in multiple lease transactions for office space in Houston, Texas.

Organization Membership

Mr. Pulliam is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, The Real Estate Council, and TREC Young Guns. He is also a member of The Real Estate Council's 2008-2009 Associate Leadership Council.

Community Involvement

Mr. Pulliam has volunteered time as an attorney ad litem for the Dallas Urban Land Bank Demonstration Program, a cooperative effort of The City of Dallas, The Real Estate Council, and several other business leaders to convert vacant or abandoned lots into viable and affordable housing for residents.

He is also actively involved in The Real Estate Council (TREC) Young Guns Park Project, a cooperative effort between TREC Young Guns, The City of Dallas and Friends of the Katy Trail to develop an unused piece of land adjacent to the Katy Trail between the northbound and southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway and to construct façade improvements to the two adjacent Katy Trail bridges in order to create an aesthetically pleasing green space and a recognizable gateway into downtown Dallas.
