Mr. Chapman is the author of numerous publications over the last four decades in scientific, legal, as well as other areas, for example: "An Unusual Law Angle Thrust Fault (abstract)," Yale Scientific, April 1969; "Solar Collectors--An Original Experiment," Science Teachers Bulletin, Fall-Winter 1978-79; "Physics with Flashers," The Science Teacher, September 1983; "The Use of Patent Information in Products Liability and Personal Injury Law Litigation," Texas Personal Injury Law Reporter, Vol. 9, No. 4, 1991; E-Copyright Handbook (Aspen Law and Business 2003) (contributor). He is a frequent expert witness, speaker and author on intellectual property subjects.
