Biography

Marvin E. Sprouse III represents financial institutions, landlords, participants in the energy industry, and other creditors in bankruptcy, workout/restructure, and litigation matters, including collections and garnishment. He also represents companies purchasing assets out of bankruptcy. He has represented clients before bankruptcy courts in every district in Texas and in jurisdictions nationwide, including Delaware, New York, Florida, Nevada and California.

Preference defense and avoidance action defense are areas unique to bankruptcy cases, and Mr. Sprouse has extensive experience in these areas, having successfully defended over 100 preference suits nationwide.

Military

Mr. Sprouse served in the United States Marine Corps from 1989 to 1993.
