With the constant changes in today's legal environment, it is important to stay abreast on recent legal issues and developments. This is why Continuing Legal Education (CLE) is so important. In fact, it is a requirement for all attorneys in order to continue to practice law. The State Bar of Texas requires its members to complete at least 15 hours of accredited CLE within the compliance year. In order to assist clients in obtaining this professional requirement, Jackson Walker has partnered with West LegalEdcenter in order to offer a complimentary online CLE library. The library contains recent CLE presentations given by Jackson Walker attorneys. All presentations have been approved for participatory credit and, in some instances, ethics credit in Texas. Each presentation lasts 30 to 60 minutes and includes corresponding handouts. There is also a discussion area where viewers can have their questions answered by the speaker. After visiting the discussion board and completing the course evaluation, CLE credit is automatically received.
