William H. Hornberger practices in the Tax and International sections of Jackson Walker. Mr. Hornberger's tax practice emphasizes transactional and international tax matters and tax controversy issues.

Organization Membership
Mr. Hornberger is a member of the American Bar Association; the Dallas Bar Association (2005 Chair of Taxation Section); the Texas Bar Association (2001-2002 Chair of Taxation Section); and the Dallas CPA Society (2008-2009 Chair). He is a member of the Executive Board and chairman-elect for the Texas Society of CPAs; the Holocaust Museum of Dallas; and the Real Estate Council of Dallas (2008 and 2011 Executive Committee). He serves as National Corporate Counsel for the National Society of Hispanic MBAs. He also served as a member of the advisory board of the Dallas Chapter of AVANCE, Inc. He was a Board member for the Real Estate Council Foundation (2006-2008) and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Community Involvement
Mr. Hornberger is a past Board Member of The Covenant School (2003-2009) and an adjunct professor in Taxation at the Southern Methodist University School of Law (1996 and 1998). He was also a member of Leadership Dallas (2006).

Peer Recognition
Mr. Hornberger was named the 2013 "Lawyer of the Year" in Tax Law (Dallas) by Best Lawyers and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America under Tax Law (2003-2013). He was named as one of the "Best Lawyers in Dallas" by D Magazine (2007-2009, 2011 and 2013) and as a "Super Lawyer" by Thomson Reuters (2003-2012). Mr. Hornberger has also received the Dallas CPA Society "CPA of the Year" award (2006-2007) and "Stanley J. Scott CPE" award (2005). He was the recipient of The Real Estate Council of Dallas "President's Award" (2007).
