Kurt D. Nondorf

Biography Kurt Nondorf has almost 30 years of experience in real estate transactions law, including the representation of institutional clients in connection with the acquisition, sale, financing, and leasing of office buildings, apartment complexes, industrial sites, warehouses, and hotels. His most frequent assignments involve work in the commercial capital and leasing markets, representing buyers and sellers of improved properties and landlords and tenants in commercial leases.Most recently, Mr. Nondorf has spent a considerable portion of his practice on office building acquisitions, sales and financings for multiple fund clients, including a number of portfolio sales and acquisitions of improved property. His recent experience also includes representation of developer clients and large tenants in build-to-suit transactions. Mr. Nondorf's experience in the leasing area includes the representation of two large and well-respected law firms in connection with the leasing of their headquarters locations in newly constructed office projects. Mr. Nondorf regularly represents large tenants and institutional landlords in office building leasing. He has worked on several leases of over 400,000 square feet. He is a member of: the Real Estate Committee of the Economic Development Advisory Board of the Greater Houston Partnership, the Houston Real Estate Lawyers Council, and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He also is a past chair of the board of directors of the Real Estate Section of the Houston Bar Association. Community Involvement Mr. Nondorf is a member of the Board of Trustees for Houston Christian High School and a member of the Foundation Board of First Methodist Church (where he has held positions of Chair of Finance and Chair of Trustees); he is a member of the Board of Directors for two other charities, Clarewood House (where he serves as Chair) and Covenant House; he also serves on the Audit Committee for Central Houston; and is involved in addressing the issues of the homeless in Houston.
