Managed Care/Integrated Delivery Systems

Jackson Walker attorneys are involved in developing and organizing physician hospital organizations, preferred provider organizations, independent practice associations, management service organizations and other integrated delivery systems. Our attorneys draft, review and negotiate managed care agreements for all types of provider entities on both local and national levels, and advise on managed care strategies with networks and payors. We have assisted in contractual and payment matters involving HMOs and other managed care entities including Medicare Advantange plans; analyzed operational and credentialing and medical staff issues, obtained certificates of authority for HMOs and assisted HMOs with regulatory compliance issues; and represented health care clients before the Texas Department of Insurance.
