Consolidated Fuel Corporation: represented Official Unsecured Creditors' Committee with claims of $10 million resulting in a plan which paid unsecured creditors in full, with interest

Landlord/Tenant, Executory Contract
Lyondell: represented landlord of debtor's corporate headquarters. Lease was assumed and cure obligation was agreed to by the parties

Kmart Corporation: represented non-residential real property lessor in the procurement of an order rejecting lease and the prosecution of a lease rejection claim

Fleming Foods, Inc.: represented post-petition service provider in the allowance and payment of a substantial administrative claim and in the prosecution of a claim for rejection of a service contract

Homegold, Inc.: represented commercial real property lessor in the recovery of a leased premises and the prosecution of a lease rejection claim

Asset Purchases
Wall Homes, Inc.: represented successful bidder in the purchase of several hundred developed and undeveloped lots throughout Texas

Butan Valley, N.V.: assisted judgment/judgment lien purchaser in negotiating bid procedures, obtaining stalking horse status and successfully credit bidding (with a small cash component) to purchase the collateral in a subsequently filed Chapter 7 case

Schulz Nursery, LLC: assisted client in the purchase of several nurseries in Texas from a Chapter 11 debtor

Elitech SAS Financiere: assisted French company with its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of California-based technology company

Enron: represented second highest bidder for "new" Enron building in Houston during Enron's Chapter 11 case.

Apollo Software: represented debt and equity holder in takeover and sale of all assets of software company in bankruptcy proceeding.

Coraza Holding: represented bank group in bankruptcy bid procedures and sale of assets of metal fabricating company operating in four countries

Lajitas: represented creditors committee in bankruptcy auction and sale of 25,000 acre luxury resort in Texas

Sunpoint Securities, Inc.: represented a Jackson Walker partner who was appointed as trustee to liquidate a securities firm under the Securities Investor Protection Act involving customer and corporate assets in excess of $350 million

Utility Provider Representation
General Growth Properties, Inc.: represented retail electricity provider in objection to Section 366 utility motion and was successful in getting client removed from list of providers to pursue rights and remedies as a forward contract merchant

Lyondell Chemical Company: represented retail electricity provider in objection to Section 366 utility motion and negotiated delivery of substantial cash deposits to secure post-petition services

Linens 'N Things, Inc: represented multiple retail utility provider in connection with Section 366 utility motion and negotiated delivery of cash deposits between $329,000 and $434,000 to secure delivery of post-petition services
