Lionel M. Schooler Speaks on Drafting Arbitration Clauses

Mr. Schooler will speak on "Drafting Arbitration Clauses for Executive Employment Contracts." He and a co-panelist will examine and recommend the components of an appropriate ADR clause for an executive employment contract to identify what all agreements should have, how both the employer and employee can benefit from this type of contract, and the impact of recent case law on these agreements. Mr. Schooler has developed significant expertise in labor and employment law as well as business litigation, with an emphasis in federal practice. Since 1992, Mr. Schooler has served as an arbitrator in business, health care, construction, and employment disputes, on the panels of the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Schooler has extensive experience in arbitration as an arbitrator and as an advocate and is now certified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators for international arbitration matters. He has tried over 50 jury and non-jury cases, and he has argued numerous appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and in the Texas Courts of Appeals. He is a frequent speaker and author on the topics of employment law and arbitration. |
