Jackson Walker partner Willie Hornberger has been named to the Executive Board for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He will serve for the 2009-2012 term.

The TSCPA is a nonprofit, voluntary, professional organization representing Texas CPAs. TSCPA has 20 local chapters statewide and has 28,000 members, the largest in-state membership of any CPA organization in the nation. Mr. Hornberger is a past board of directors member of the TSCPA. He is also a past board member of the Dallas Chapter of the TSCPA and is a former Vice President of that organization. He is a former Chair of the Tax Section of the State Bar of Texas and also served as an Adjunct Professor in Taxation at the SMU Law School in 1996 and again in 1998.

Mr. Hornberger practices in the Tax and International sections of Jackson Walker. His tax practice emphasizes transactional and international tax matters and tax controversy. He received both his B.B.A. degree, with high honors, and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Texas, and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. Mr. Hornberger is a Certified Public Accountant.
