The daylong boot camp will feature expert presentations on fundamental entrepreneurship skills including opportunity identification, business planning, intellectual property and business law, marketing and funding a technology start-up.

The day will kick off with a keynote address by Mir Imran, chairman and CEO of InCube Labs. Mr. Imran is one of the leading inventors and entrepreneurs in the medical devices field. He holds more than 200 issued patents and is most well known for his pioneering contributions to the first FDA approved automatic implantable cardioverter defibrillator. He has founded more than 20 life science companies and recently launched InCube Labs in San Antonio. Jackson Walker partner Stephanie Chandler will speak on "How to Legally Structure Your Company and Raise the Cash." Jackson Walker associate Sean Crandall will speak on "Intellectual Property: How to Protect Your Idea and Brand."
