Jackson Walker partner Jay Rutherford was recently selected for inclusion in the Fort Worth Business Press' 2011 "Power Attorneys" list.

The prestigious list includes 12 attorneys in the Fort Worth area whose reputation in law is unmatched. The "Power Attorneys" are first nominated by their peers in the legal community; then, an independent panel of judges peruses and researches all nominations to assemble the final list. Mr. Rutherford and the other eleven attorneys will be recognized at a luncheon at the Fort Worth Club on October 12, 2011.

Mr. Rutherford's practice consists primarily of representing management in labor issues, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, civil rights, and all types of employment litigation. His practice also includes counseling clients in all matters affecting the employer-employee relationship and compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations. He received his B.S., magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University, and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
