Don W. Griffis has practiced for over 26 years in West Texas and, prior to that, served as a law clerk to Honorable Joe E. Estes, United States District Judge, in Dallas. Before going to work for Judge Estes, Mr. Griffis served for three years on active duty as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He served in Vietnam as both a Staff Legal Officer and as an Infantry Officer and then was assigned to teach military law at the Marine Corps Basic School, Quantico, Virginia.

Mr. Griffis has extensive personal injury and commercial litigation experience and has appeared in a variety of state and federal courts. His primary areas of interest include personal injury defense, products and premises liability defense, employment litigation, medical and legal malpractice litigation, and general business litigation. He is the managing partner of the firm's San Angelo office.

Mr. Griffis has been very active in the San Angelo community throughout his career. Mr. Griffis is past president of the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce; scoutmaster of Troop I, Boy Scouts of America; member of the Board of Directors and past president of the Concho Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America; director and past president of the San Angelo YMCA; member of the Board and past president of the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley; and senior vestryman and member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. He has also served two terms on the San Angelo City Council.
