Steven R. Jacobs's practice emphasizes securities transactions, reporting and compliance; mergers and acquisitions; and general corporate work. He represents both private and public companies, including those in the energy, high technology and healthcare industries. He acts as general counsel for several public and private companies and has represented clients listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), American Stock Exchange (AMEX) and the NASDAQ Stock Market. Mr. Jacobs has extensive experience in public and private offerings of equity and debt securities and has represented both public and private companies in their acquisition and divestiture activities. Mr. Jacobs also has played a leadership role in a number of in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

Mr. Jacobs has been named to Scene in SA's "San Antonio's Best Lawyers" and is listed in The Best Lawyers In America under Corporate Law. He was also named to the San Antonio Business Journal's "40 Under 40" in 1999.
