Jackson Walker L.L.P :: Careers
The JW Career: Make it what you want it to be.

Beginning in August through October of each year, Jackson Walker attorney interview teams and recruiters visit law schools across the country to conduct interviews with second year students. The firm also attends and participates in job fairs, consortiums, minority conferences and resume drops to interview and review students from law schools where we may not visit the campus during fall recruiting. The firm's Recruiting Committees examine and evaluate a student's law school and undergraduate academic ability and strong interpersonal skills that will integrate into the firm's culture and environment to provide excellent client service.

The interview process can be an arduous one and we realize that students are trying to find a balance between academics and interviewing. The best advice we can give a law student preparing for the fall recruiting season is to bring your search into focus, identify your goals in terms of working environment, areas of practice, geographic presence and quality of life style within the firm. Don't take it personally if you do not receive an invitation for a second interview with our Firm. Jackson Walker is committed to giving all applicants careful consideration. Our hiring decisions are based primarily on the number of new associates a practice group will need to hire upon your graduation from law school. Our firm complies with the National Association of Legal Career Professionals (NALP) deadlines and will reimburse students for pre-approved expenses related to a call back interview.
