Jackson Walker Announces the Election of Ten New Partners

(Dallas, TX) February 13, 2006 - Jackson Walker announces that the following attorneys have been elected as partners: S. Brad Brown, Jr. (Dallas - Litigation), L. Scott Brown (Richardson - Business Transactions), William J. Cobb III (Austin - Litigation), David B. Deaton (Houston - Business Transactions), William D. Ellerman (Dallas - Litigation), Randall M. Glenn (Austin - Business Transactions), Breck Harrison (Austin - Litigation), James D. Struble (Dallas - Litigation), Mark Tidwell (Houston - Intellectual Property), Ryan Wirtz (Dallas - Litigation).

S. Brad Brown, Jr. is a partner in the Litigation section of Jackson Walker and in the Aviation practice group. Mr. Brown's primary practice focuses on aviation related matters, including negligence, personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and commercial cases in both state and federal courts. Mr. Brown is also experienced in handling DTPA, environmental, and copyright/publishing litigation. Mr. Brown received his B.B.A. degree, with high honors, and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.

L. Scott Brown is a partner in the Business Transactions section of Jackson Walker. Mr. Brown's practice concentrates primarily on assisting publicly traded and privately held business entities with equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, the development and implementation of strategic alliances and joint ventures, and related commercial contracts. Mr. Brown also advises clients with respect to United States federal securities laws. Mr. Brown received his B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Oklahoma, and his J.D. degree from Tulane Law School.

William J. Cobb III is a partner in the Litigation section of Jackson Walker. Mr. Cobb's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on class action defense, insurance, and insurance regulatory matters. Mr. Cobb also has extensive experience in technology and telecommunications litigation, having served as corporate counsel for a broadband Internet access company for several years. Mr. Cobb earned his B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. degree from the Northwestern University School of Law where Mr. Cobb served as an Articles Editor for the Northwestern Law Review.

David B. Deaton is a partner in the Business Transactions section and a member of the Energy Practice Group of Jackson Walker. His practice is primarily in the areas of real estate, finance, energy, and corporate transactions. Mr. Deaton received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas, his M.S.C.J. from Southwest Texas State University, and his J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law.

William D. Ellerman is a partner in the Litigation section of Jackson Walker. Mr. Ellerman's practice consists primarily of representing clients in civil litigation matters. Specifically, Mr. Ellerman handles matters involving contracts, business torts, banking, securities, telecommunications, insurance, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Ellerman has successfully tried lawsuits in federal and state courts. Additionally, Mr. Ellerman regularly handles appeals in both federal and state courts, and he is a member of the firm's Appellate Practice Group. Mr. Ellerman received a B.A. degree, cum laude, from Tulane University and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Baylor University, where he served as Symposium Editor and Notes and Comments Editor of the Baylor Law Review. Mr. Ellerman was named the 1998 Outstanding Law Student of Baylor University, where he graduated first in his law school class.

Randall M. Glenn is a partner in the Transactional Section of Jackson Walker. Mr. Glenn's practice focuses on representing individuals and diverse public and private businesses in commercial real estate matters, general corporate matters, and business transactions. Mr. Glenn earned his B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. from the University of Tulsa.

Breck Harrison is a partner in the Litigation section of Jackson Walker. He has represented clients in a variety of litigation matters at both the trial and appellate levels, including commercial litigation, insurance litigation, and personal injury and medical negligence defense. Mr. Harrison also has experience in construction and real estate litigation. Mr. Harrison earned his B.S. degree at Southwest Texas State University and his J.D. degree at Texas Tech University.

James D. Struble is a partner in the Litigation section of Jackson Walker. His primary area of practice is aviation, in which he has experience in trying both jury and non-jury matters as lead counsel for major airlines. He represents corporate and fractional ownership aircraft owners and operators in all aspects of aviation transactional matters including purchase, management, charter, and lease agreements. He also handles regulatory and enforcement matters, including dangerous goods/hazardous material matters, for both air carriers and pilots and has successfully tried cases before NTSB Administrative Law Judges. Mr. Struble received his B.S. degree from the Air Force Academy and his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce.

Mark Tidwell is a partner in the Intellectual Property section of Jackson Walker. Mr. Tidwell's practice generally encompasses Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law, Technology Law and Internet Law, and particularly focuses on prosecution, acquisition, licensing, divestiture and enforcement of patent rights, trademark rights, trade secrets and copyrights. Mr. Tidwell earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

Ryan C. Wirtz is a partner in the Litigation section of Jackson Walker. Mr. Wirtz's specific areas of expertise include media and telecommunications law, trade secret litigation, arbitrations, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Wirtz received his B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, cum laude and college honors, and his J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law, with honors.
