Technology Capabilities
Jackson Walker knows technology. We have always been a leader in finding innovative ways to utilize technology in order to serve our clients more efficiently and at a lower cost. Today, Jackson Walker continues this tradition by deploying the latest products and systems available in information systems, communications, case and project management, court room technology, and Internet technologies, such as in the following instances:
-
All firm personnel are assigned the use of personal computers (including laptops) that have an extensive array of desktop software tools at their disposal along with direct access to the Internet.
-
Jackson Walker offers secure and collaborative access to case materials - case files, evidence, deposition transcripts - from anywhere one has access to the internet. As a result, many of Jackson Walker's clients enjoy access to the same information our attorneys are accessing.
-
Jackson Walker has recognized the digital nature of today's business environment. That's why we have provided, throughout all of our offices, the systems necessary to turn paper documents into digital files and have combined our e-mail, faxing, and document management system into an integrated solution.
-
Jackson Walker lawyers work from anywhere at anytime using remote access tools such as Citrix, VPN's, secure access to Intranets, and Blackberry wireless e-mail devices. Such an extensive deployment of technology permits our clients to maintain direct and instantaneous contact with lawyers and staff servicing their legal matters.
-
The firm maintains an extensive and redundant wide area network between all of our offices. This allows for seamless integration between offices. Using this technology, lawyers and staff from any of our offices may work together in the handling of a matter, as the needs of the client and expertise of the individuals dictate.
-
The firm maintains an electronic depository of research, briefs, forms, newsletters, and other firm work products, which gives all lawyers the ability to quickly and efficiently exploit previous efforts for the benefit of the firm's clients.
-
The firm can provide targeted information to our clients through the use of various electronic newsletters and online content in the form of documents and video presentations.
-
Jackson Walker's stateoftheart time and billing system offers extensive abilities to customize billing data to the precise needs of the client and, where desired, to even afford realtime access to accounting and billing information.
Though we are proud of the investment we have made in our technology and the capabilities it gives us to provide the highestquality services to our clients, our most valuable assets are our people. In the technology area, we can accommodate any reasonable client need.
