Chevazz Brown Honored with Houston Bar Association President’s Award

Jackson Walker partner Chevazz G. Brown was recently honored with the Houston Bar Association’s 2017 President’s Award for exemplifying outstanding leadership as co-chair of the Houston Bar Association (HBA) Fun Run Committee. Chevazz was honored along with Committee co-chairs Cassandra McGarvey of Sanders Willyard LLP and Zach Wolfe of Fleckman & McGlynn PLLC.

Under their leadership, the Committee planned and executed the HBA’s 32nd Annual John J. Eikenburg Law Week Fun Run which raised more than $62,000 in funds from sponsorships. This was the fourth largest amount of money raised at the event in the Committee’s 32-year history.

Proceeds will benefit The Center, a non-profit agency serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities through innovative programs and compassionate care.
