Are part-time employees eligible for the Emergency FMLA Child Care Leave?
The traditional FMLA standard that an eligible employee must be employed for at least 1 year with 1250 hours of service in the prior year does not apply to Emergency FMLA Expansion leave. An eligible employee must have been employed for at least 30 days before the leave commences and there is no full-time requirement.
