Jackson Walker partner Curt Langley spoke at the 29th Annual Litigation Update Institute in Austin, Texas, on Jan. 11, 2013.
Mr. Langley gave an update on Federal Procedure. The Litigation Update Institute is a two-day conference cosponsored by the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas that supplies litigators with updates on valuable topics, including Supreme Court/5th Circuit updates, energy law updates, and business and commercial law updates, to name a few.
For more than 20 years as a trial lawyer, Mr. Langley has developed a diverse commercial litigation practice handling lawsuits and arbitrations across Texas and in various other states across the country. Mr. Langley has handled commercial litigation matters including: real estate litigation, health care litigation, energy litigation, and much more. Mr. Langley is a frequent author and speaker on such legal topics as lender liability, litigation with financial institutions, collections practice, and legal ethics. Mr. Langley received his B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and received his J.D. from The South Texas College of Law, where he was a Note and Comment Editor for the South Texas Law Review.
