James McFall Elected to Board of Kids-U

Kids-U’s mission is to improve the lives of low-income children by concentrating on education and issues that affect the whole child and to produce engaged, educated, and contributing citizens and leaders. The organization offers free after-school tutoring services for at-risk students in grades K-8 to help with Math, Language Arts, and Reading skills. In addition to tutoring services, Kids-U provides kids with homework assistance, art programs, computer literacy, and character development, all free of charge to the participants of the program.

James’ legal practice focuses on complex commercial, construction, and media litigation, including cases of alleged fraud, tortious interference, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, defamation, and theft of trade secrets. He also has significant experience representing large national banks and other financial institutions in a variety of matters, including multimillion-dollar disputes. He has represented lenders, corporate officers, and corporate directors in high-stakes corporate defense cases involving claims for breach of fiduciary duty and fraud. Mr. McFall received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law.
