Mike Haggerty Elected President of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas

Jackson Walker partner Mike Haggerty was recently elected President of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.

The Salesmanship Club of Dallas is a service organization of more than 600 business leaders dedicated to changing the odds for at-risk and troubled children and their families in the greater Dallas area through the programs of Momentous Institute (formerly Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers). The Salesmanship Club of Dallas is the host organization of the annual AT&T Byron Nelson Championship, which benefits Momentous Institute.

“I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to lead an organization that does so much for kids and families in our community,” Mr. Haggerty said in a press release. “The Club’s charitable work, done through Momentous Institute, strives to develop programs aimed at achieving positive social emotional health in children. Our education and mental health programs truly change the odds for children.”

Mr. Haggerty has been a member of the Salesmanship Club since 1997. During his 17 years with the Club, he has served in a number of leadership positions, including chairman of the Momentous Institute Board, the Club’s 2011 Strategic Planning Committee, the Momentous Institute Board Scholarship Committee, and the Byron Nelson Championship Legal Committee In his legal practice, Mr. Haggerty is currently co-head of the Jackson Walker Finance practice group. He represents a number of financial institutions, including banks, credit companies, insurance companies and other entities in connection with a variety of real estate, commercial, and corporate lending transactions. Mr. Haggerty received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
