Chip Babcock Speaks at the Houston Bar Association Law & the Media Seminar

During the 34th Annual Law & the Media Seminar, Jackson Walker partner Chip Babcock joined a panel discussing “The Limits of Provocative Speech.” Fellow panelists included Mizanur Rahman (Houston Chronicle, moderator), Holli V. Pryor-Baze (Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld), and media consultant and criminal appellate attorney Brian Rogers.

Held on February 1, 2020, at the South Texas College of Law Houston, the seminar’s theme was “Is Speech Still Free?” and featured attorneys, journalists, and scholars discussing the First Amendment and how the media and the legal system help define and protect the limits of free speech.
