Cale McDowell Appointed to University of Texas Development Board

The Development Board, formed by the Board of Regents in 1937, comprises loyal and influential UT alumni and friends from across the state and nation and serves as an advisory group to the president of the University. Mr. McDowell’s term begins as the University prepares for the successful completion of the Campaign for Texas, which will have raised over $3 billion to support the University and its programs.

Mr. McDowell represents public and private companies, executives, investors and investment funds in a broad array of engagements, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, entity structuring and formation, offerings of debt and equity securities and general corporate governance and transactional matters. Mr. McDowell received B.B.A., M.P.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
