Jackson Walker is pleased to announce that The National Black Lawyers has selected Courtney J. White for inclusion in its list of the “Top 100 Black Lawyers in Texas.”
An invitation-only network of the top black attorneys from each state, The National Black Lawyers (NBL) supplies members with professional resources for increasing their knowledge and building referral connections. Members are plaintiff and defense lawyers from across the nation who practice in over 30 areas of law.
To be recognized among its list of the 100 “best black attorneys in each state who promote diversity and equality in the legal system,” nominees must have an outstanding reputation among peers, the judiciary, and the public; received notable achievements, settlements, and verdicts; nominations from other leading lawyers and current NBL members; leadership and membership in national and state specialty lawyer organizations; and rankings and ratings by leading national evaluation programs.
In her real estate practice, Courtney works directly with Jackson Walker’s real estate portfolio due diligence team on large portfolio acquisitions and dispositions. She also has experience managing teams and providing first-level quality control review in connection with large-scale due diligence and e-Discovery projects.
Outside her practice, she volunteers with the National Advocacy Coordinating Committee of the American Heart Association and runs Courthouse Couture, a blog centered around faith, fashion, lawyer life, lifestyle, shopping, and travel.
Courtney received her B.S. from Texas A&M University and her J.D. from the Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She is also a Certified Texas Mediator.
