Dallas attorney Eric Wong has been selected to serve as Chair of the Texas Chapter of The Copyright Society of the USA (CSUSA). With his appointment, Eric follows in the footsteps of fellow Jackson Walker attorneys Stacy Allen and Emilio B. Nicolas, who previously held this position.

Founded in 1953, the Copyright Society of the USA is the preeminent society dedicated to the study of copyright law in the United States. Both Stacy and Emilio started the Texas Chapter in early 2014, which saw rapid growth in membership and audience.

Eric is a litigation, media law, and intellectual property attorney. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to counseling news and entertainment clients, and has represented a variety of media entities in access, copyright, trademark, defamation, and other disputes. Outside of his practice, Eric has volunteered his time with the American Bar Association Forum on Communications Law and the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas.
