Greg Lambert Elected to American Association of Law Libraries Executive Board

Greg will start in July 2016 as the Vice-President and will take over as President in July of 2017.

The American Association of Law Libraries was founded in 1906 to promote and enhance the value of law libraries to the legal and public communities, to foster the profession of law librarianship, and to provide leadership in the field of legal information. The Association represents 4,500 law librarians and related professionals who are affiliated with a wide range of institutions: law firms, law schools, corporate legal departments, government, publishers, and suppliers.

In addition to leading the library and research teams at Jackson Walker, Greg works as a liaison between many departments on issues of business development, competitive intelligence, knowledge management, and firm wide initiatives. Greg has presented at national library, records, legal marketing, and competitive intelligence functions. His “3 Geeks and a Law Blog” has received numerous awards, including being inducted into the ABA Blawg 100 Hall of Fame in 2015. Greg received his B.A. from Cameron University, and his Masters in Library Science and J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.
