On May 14, 2014, Jackson Walker and communications agency KGBTexas announced the inaugural Catalyst Award to honor women-owned startups.

In commemoration of its 20th anniversary, KGBTexas partnered with Jackson Walker to create the first-ever Catalyst Award. The award will recognize a female business owner whose company demonstrates large potential for growth and who has a clear passion for her products or services. Together, Jackson Walker and KGBTexas will review submissions and choose one winner who will receive a year of communications strategy services from KGBTexas.

Through June 13, 2014, women business owners in San Antonio, Austin, and Houston can submit entries for the award to catalyst@kgbtexas.com.
