Jackson Walker’s Ann Leafstedt Selected to Leadership San Antonio
We are proud to announce that Jackson Walker partner Ann M. Leafstedt has been selected as a member of Leadership San Antonio’s Class 43. Leadership San Antonio (LSA) was created in 1975 by the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce to help identify community leaders. It is now considered the premier program for existing and emerging leaders in the Bexar County area.
LSA class members are selected from all segments of the community for their dedication to public service, contribution to their chosen profession, and commitment to increasing their level of service as evidenced by their participation in key leadership positions. LSA’s goal is to help mold sensitive, responsible, committed leaders, thus ensuring a prosperous future for San Antonio.
Several Jackson Walker attorneys have been members of previous LSA classes. I have heard so many good things about the program and am both delighted and honored to have this opportunity to participate. It is an exciting time for San Antonio, and I look forward to contributing to a vibrant future for our city.
Ann M. Leafstedt is a partner in our San Antonio office and a member of the Corporate and Securities practice group. She advises family offices and businesses on general corporate matters including formation of entities, acquisitions, corporate governance issues, and financing transactions. Ann graduated magna cum laude from Williams College, holds a Masters in Economics from Stanford University, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law with honors.
In addition to her community service in the legal field, Ann serves on the Board of Directors for Green Spaces Alliance and the San Antonio Public Library Foundation. She also serves on the Finance Committee and Altar Guild for St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and will begin serving on the Vestry in January 2018.
