Earlier this month, the San Antonio-based Northeast Bridge Builders organization hosted its 1st Annual Golf Classic in an effort to benefit students in Northeast San Antonio. The event consisted of a golf tournament, silent auction, and live auction, and was held at the Windcrest Golf Course.
Jackson Walker, as well as several San Antonio-based companies and organizations, including Valero Energy Corp., Whataburger, Taco Cabana, Alamo Insurance Group, and N.E.I.S.D., sponsored or participated in the Golf Classic. The funds raised at the Golf Classic will be donated directly to Roosevelt High School and the elementary and middle schools that feed into it.
Jackson Walker attorney James McFall plays a key role in the Northeast Bridge Builders organization, serving as a member of its board and organizing a number of its community engagement and fundraising events. In 2015, he helped form the organization with a group of former student-athletes from his alma mater, Roosevelt High School.
Windcrest Mayor Alan Baxter is a dedicated supporter of the Northeast Bridge Builders, and played a central role in planning the Golf Classic.

The Northeast Bridge Builders organization brings together members of the Roosevelt High School community, local businesses, government officials, and school officials in an effort to provide much-needed funding for academic programs. About James McFall
James Carlos McFall is a litigation attorney who focuses on commercial, media, and construction disputes. James’ practice covers all areas of litigation from investigation to trial, including depositions, preparing fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, and drafting and arguing various evidentiary and dispositive motions. Last fall, James and Jackson Walker partner W. Ross Forbes, Jr. tried a case to a jury in which they obtained a verdict of more than $12 million against a group of defendants.
In media litigation, James has represented television networks, newspapers, journalists, internet publishers, film directors, and producers in cases of libel, defamation, and misappropriation of likeness. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he served as a Senior Editor for the Washington University Law Review.
