Jay Rutherford Honored by Texas Association of Business

Jay serves as General Counsel for TAB and has been involved with the organization for over 10 years.

TAB represents the interests of employers ranging from large multi-national companies to small businesses in legislative, regulatory, and judicial issues across the state. In his involvement with TAB, Jay has volunteered as General Counsel, Statewide Chair, and as a member of the TAB Officer Team. He has donated many hours of time advising, drafting documents and negotiating on behalf of the organization.

Jay was presented with the award at the TAB Annual Meeting and Policy Conference 2017 where he was introduced by former TAB Chair, Sara Tays.

“I don’t know what success would look like without Jay Rutherford,” said Tays. “He has been a highly valued member of the leadership team for the extremely influential lead Texas business association and state chamber.”
