Jackson Walker partner Jeff Kitner recently finished his year as a member of the Dallas Breakfast Group’s Community Leaders program.
Founded in 1986, the Dallas Breakfast Group aims to increase participation by Dallas–area business executives and civic leaders in local elections and local affairs. Mr. Kitner was nominated to participate in the Community Leaders program by Richard Vitale, a Dallas Breakfast Group board member. Mr. Kitner will continue as a Jackson Walker member representative to the Dallas Breakfast Group for the upcoming year.
Mr. Kitner focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation, with an emphasis on energy, real estate, healthcare, and collections matters. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of litigation matters in both state and federal courts in Texas as well as outside of the state, and has handled lawsuits in many other areas, including intellectual property, banking, sequestration, garnishment, post-judgment collection, and other commercial disputes. Mr. Kitner also has significant arbitration experience as well as with the Public Utility Commission of Texas in regulatory matters involving utilities and retail electric providers. He received his B.A. from Emory University and his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served as President of the Student Bar Association.
