Jim Griffin Speaks to Greater Dallas Iranian-American Chamber of Commerce

Jackson Walker partner Jim Griffin spoke to the Greater Dallas Iranian-American Chamber of Commerce (GDIACC) on February 26, 2014, in Richardson, Texas.

Mr. Griffin spoke on implementation of healthcare reform, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and its impact on business owners. Dallas County Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, and Bob Reed and Angela Morris of Parkland Health and Hospital Systems also addressed the chamber.

The event was sponsored by the Law Office of Sean Chalaki and Med Drive Group. The GDIACC serves as a business resource, a forum and advocate for Iranian-American business issues, and a united voice for the Iranian-American business community.

Mr. Griffin concentrates his practice in the area of employee benefits and executive compensation. He works with clients in various industries including technology, manufacturing, retailing, energy, and financial services. He advises clients on design, administration and compliance issues arising under the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, and other laws. Mr. Griffin received his B.B.A. degree, summa cum laude, in 1983 from Texas Tech University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from SMU in 1986, where he was an editor of the SMU Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif.
