John Holden Speaks on Energy Company and Landowner Rights

Jackson Walker partner John Holden spoke at a webinar on Hydraulic Fracturing Land Lease Negotiations on March 25, 2014.

Mr. Holden presented a paper titled “Energy Company and Landowner Rights,” which covered topics such as the right to transfer ownership, access to water, specific uses of surface area, and easements for pipelines and other distribution concerns. The webinar was presented by the National Business Institute.

Mr. Holden has more than 36 years’ experience representing clients in the natural resources area. He has advised clients with respect to all aspects of ownership, exploration, production, transportation, processing, sale and marketing of oil and gas, and other natural resources. This includes the formation of and use of various entities, both public and private, and the financing of the acquisition and development of hydrocarbons and related assets. Mr. Holden received his A.B. from Ohio University, his J.D. from George Washington University Law School, and his LL.M. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
