Jorge Padilla Elected President of Austin Young Lawyers Association

jackson-walker-attorney-thumb-padillaPartner Jorge Padilla has been elected to serve as President of the Austin Young Lawyers Association (AYLA) for the 2018 – 2019 term. Jorge currently serves as Treasurer and held the position of Secretary during the 2015 – 2016 term.

AYLA is a professional association dedicated to the promotion of justice through community service.  Through its board of directors, AYLA organizes and implements a variety of service programs each year, including its Women’s Resource Fair, Holiday Baskets for Kids, and Day of Service.

Jorge is a partner in Jackson Walker’s litigation section and advises clients on business disputes both before and after litigation has commenced.  He has counseled his clients in probate, trust, and other fiduciary duty matters, as well as disputes involving the technology, real estate, and healthcare industries.  Jorge was a member of the inaugural class of the Austin Bar Association/Austin Young Lawyer’s Association’s Leadership Academy in 2012.
