Longhorn Council Recognizes Jay Rutherford for the Law “Good Scout” Award

Jay K. Rutherford, a partner in our Fort Worth office, was chosen for this year’s Longhorn Council’s Law “Good Scout” Award.

He is also very active in his community, and has been on numerous boards of associations that serve youth needs like First Texas Council of Campfire USA and Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail. Jay is honored to support the Law “Good Scout” event because of the positive effect on our youth.

Jay was presented this recognition on October 6 at The Fort Worth Club in Downtown Fort Worth. The Law “Good Scout” Luncheon proceeds will fund a program which is currently serving more than 3,000 youth in 50 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 4 community centers in the Fort Worth and Arlington areas. The Urban Scoutreach Program provides free after-school healthy snacks, scouting, and character development to enrich and engage at-risk children in our community.
