Matt Acosta Moderates Panel at Eastern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference

Jackson Walker partner Matt C. Acosta moderated a panel at the 2018 Eastern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference on October 18, 2018, in Plano, Texas. The panel discussion centered on the topic of “Extra-territorial Perspectives: From Remedies in US Courts for Acts Occurring in Whole or in Part Outside the US to Obtaining Discovery from Abroad.” The panel included Kenneth Korea, Samsung Senior VP and Head of US IP Center; Ivan Wang, TSMC Senior Counsel; Christopher Kennerly of Paul Hastings; and Ranganath Sudarshan of Covington & Burling LLP.

One of the largest of its kind nationally, the Bench Bar Conference brought together practicing attorneys, judges, and industry experts to discuss issues in patent law and intellectual property that are unique to the EDTX. Dallas partner Matt C.
