Partner Leonard Dougal Presents on CCN Issues at Water Law Seminar

jackson-walker-attorney-thumb-DougalLeonardEnvironmental attorney Leonard Dougal gave a presentation titled, “CCN Update Panel, The CCN Holder’s Perspective on Compensation,” on January 11, 2017 at the TRWA/TWCA Water Law Seminar in Austin. The presentation reviewed the Public Utility Commission of Texas procedures and rules related to CCN compensation after decertification.

The Texas Rural Water Association (TRWA) represents the rural water community across the state. The Texas Water Conservation Association (TWCA) is a 501(c)(6) association of water professionals and organizations in the state of Texas. Every other year, the organizations partner to bring their members together and preview the upcoming legislative session.

This year’s seminar also covered updates on water law issues, including water rights permitting and surface water and groundwater regulations. The event featured a variety of speakers from elected officials to water industry professionals.
