March 4, 2019 | Attorney News

Jackson Walker associate Shari Y. Mao has been selected as a member of Leadership San Antonio (LSA) Class 44. Organized jointly by the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, LSA was founded in 1975 to identify individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and are active in community organizations that support San Antonio’s growth and development.

Notably, LSA Class 44 featured the largest number of nominations in program history.

In a news announcement, LSA 44 Co-Chair Andi Rodriguez said: “I think the caliber and number of ‘rock star’ applications illustrate the exponential growth and impact of what LSA is and does; not only for the individual, but for the community. When you look at past and current leadership in our city, the majority of them have been LSA graduates.”

Running through October 2019, the program invites the 62-member class to join Chamber Board members at monthly meetings, special events, and Council and Committee meetings. Through attending these meetings, members experiences the power of participation in politics, business, and philanthropy. For more information, visit the Leadership San Antonio website.
