Vytas Petrulis Elected To American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Jackson Walker partner Vytas A. Petrulis was recently invited to become a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

Organized in 1978, the American College of Real Estate Lawyers began as an exclusive organization for people with proven leadership abilities and experience in real estate law, regulations and legal practice. The American College of Real Estate Lawyers accepts new members following submission by a member selection committee to a group of governors. Only new members who have established experience in real estate law, observe high standards of professional and ethical conduct, contribute substantially to improvement of real estate law and practice and have a minimum of ten years’ experience in real estate law are accepted.

Mr. Petrulis focuses his practice on real estate development, investment, leasing and finance. He has represented real estate investment trusts (REITs), pension funds and opportunity funds in real estate acquisitions and dispositions including large, multi-state portfolio transactions; institutional landlords and corporate tenants in office, industrial and retail leasing; developers in real estate development projects including complex, mixed-use projects; and lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions. Mr. Petrulis received his B.A. from Rice University and his J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law.
