Biography

Ava Moran is an attorney in the Environmental, Regulatory, & Legislative practice of Jackson Walker’s Austin office.

While in law school, Ava served as a Staff Editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and a Research Assistant studying development agreements between local governments and renewable energy developers. Ava worked with Jackson Walker’s Environmental, Regulatory, & Legislative practice group as a summer associate in 2024. Her work included drafting petitions to challenge ERCOT rulemaking procedures and analyzing local groundwater rules on behalf of clients.

Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Ava served as an intern for Texans for Lawsuit Reform, Representative John Frullo, and the White House Office of Correspondence.
