Briggs A. Knight
Briggs Knight focuses his practice on real estate matters. He represents purchasers, owners, and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and development of a variety of types of improved and unimproved real property. Additionally, he represents lenders and borrowers in connection with lending transactions secured by or involving real estate, including retail, office, industrial, and multifamily projects and related personal property.
Briggs served as a judicial intern to Judge David Hittner in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in 2011 and was an analyst in the commercial mortgage lending group at AIG Investments from 2006-2009.
From 2015-2018, Briggs served as in-house counsel for The Hanover Company, a developer of high quality multi-family residential properties nationwide.
