Hannah E. Walsh

Biography

Hannah is a litigation associate in Jackson Walker’s Dallas office where she has represented a wide variety of clients, including media companies, real estate firms, retailers, manufacturers, and public entities. She has experience handling a variety of civil litigation and investigations, from business torts and intellectual property disputes to products liability and civil rights claims.

Hannah’s experience encompasses every phase of litigation, including handling all aspects of discovery, drafting federal and state motions, and appellate briefs. Highlights of her career so far include co-authoring an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in Gonzalez v. Google, working with a team to secure injunctive relief—which was affirmed on appeal—for a student-athlete wrongly barred from competition for exercising his constitutional rights, and partnering with the Buried Alive Project to successfully reduce a client’s mandatory life sentence for nonviolent drug-related offenses to time-served.

During law school, Hannah served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Karen Gren Scholer in the Northern District of Texas. She also pursued her interests in athletics and civil rights as an extern for both the University of Notre Dame’s Athletic Department and Office of the General Counsel and Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign.
