Biography
Lauren Zang Williams is an attorney in the litigation section of Jackson Walker’s Dallas office. Lauren represents clients at trial and all appellate stages in both federal and state court. She has represented clients in a wide range of complex and sensitive matters including breach of contract, first amendment, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, FINRA arbitrations, aviation, oil and gas, construction defects, and other complex commercial litigation. She has participated in large internal investigations, including regulatory compliance investigations, and has prepared government disclosures on behalf of her clients. Lauren has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including preparing and arguing motions, discovery, taking and defending depositions, expert discovery, and trial strategy. Prior to Jackson Walker, Lauren served as a law clerk for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office in its homicide unit. Lauren also previously served as a law clerk to Judge Andrea Thompson in the Collin County 416th District Court. During law school, Lauren served as an attorney ad litem and advocate on behalf of children in the Texas foster care system through Southern Methodist University’s Child Advocacy Clinic.
When not practicing law, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and sheepadoodle.
