Biography
Michael focuses his practice on finance, real estate and energy matters. He represents both lenders and borrowers in commercial finance transactions, including both syndicated loans and structured financings. Michael is skilled at negotiating and preparing financing documents for real estate acquisition, construction and permanent loans.
Michael represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of both raw land and income producing properties. He also represents landlords, tenants, and developers in commercial leases, including leasing of downtown and suburban office buildings, build to suit and retail leases, office buildings, retail shopping centers and electric generating facilities.
Michael has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting limited liability company agreements, limited partnership agreements, and construction law issues, including drafting and negotiating architectural service agreements, construction contracts, design/build agreements and development management agreements.
