Robert M. Ahlander
Robert Ahlander is an attorney in the Wealth Planning, Probate & Trust group of Jackson Walker’s Dallas office. Robert’s practice focuses on wealth transfer and transactional tax planning issues related to corporate, partnership, international, and tax-exempt entities. Robert received an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, where he studied corporate tax, partnership tax, international tax, taxation of mergers and acquisitions, taxation of property transactions, tax-exempt organizations, taxation of private equity transactions, and tax procedure and controversy.
While in law school at Brigham Young University, Robert served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ted Stewart of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. Robert also served as a Lead Note and Comment Editor on the BYU Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Robert was an account executive at Qualtrics, where he negotiated software licensing agreements with a variety of national and international companies in a wide range of industries.
Robert received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University.
