Biography
Robert Lydick has practiced business and corporate and securities law for almost two decades. He began his career as a staff attorney for the Division of Enforcement of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, then went on to practice at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP, where he eventually served as a director of the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice. More recently, he has served as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of an SEC-registered investment advisory firm that oversaw almost $2 billion in assets and as founding partner and General Counsel of a privately owned investment partnership.
In his legal practice, Rob has significant experience with mergers and acquisitions, including advising on the structure of transactions; conducting and supervising due diligence investigations; and drafting and negotiating confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, and purchase and sale agreements. He also represents public and private companies in a variety of general business and securities matters and has significant experience representing investment funds.
