Biography
Shelisa Brock is an associate based in Labor & Employment who has represented clients across a variety of industries in both state and federal court as well as before federal and state employment practice agencies.
Experienced in all phases of litigation, Shelisa has represented clients in a wide range of labor and employment law, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes. She has also represented clients in union grievance proceedings.
In her advisory role, Shelisa counsels clients on employee policies and procedures, covenants not to compete, layoffs, executive contracts, and other matters affecting the employer-employee relationship. She also assists clients in investigating allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.

In partnership with the Buried Alive Project, a national nonprofit launched to help free prisoners sentenced to life without parole for nonviolent drug offenses, Jackson Walker sought a reduction in the life sentence of Robert Dale Gray, who received a mandatory life sentence without parole in 1997 for a third felony drug conviction.
