Stephen Boske is a senior counsel in Jackson Walker’s Corporate & Securities Group and a member of its hedge fund and private equity practices. Stephen has extensive experience in representing private funds, asset managers, and other alternative vehicles as well as institutional investors.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Stephen acted as the deputy to the Chief Legal Officer of the U.S. division of Lyxor Asset Management, the $162 billion asset manager of Société Générale Group. For over a decade, Stephen has led the formation and structuring of numerous hedge funds, private equity funds and separately managed accounts, including entities domiciled in the U.S., Cayman Islands, Ireland, Channel Islands, and Luxembourg.
He has led the negotiations of investment management agreements, operating agreements, trading agreements, and investment proposals for these entities in addition to many other facets. He also has significant experience in handling corporate matters for funds and asset managers as well as conducting numerous regulatory and compliance projects in connection with the Dodd-Frank Act, Investment Company Act of 1940, and Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
