Biography
Tori Coates is an attorney in the trial and appellate litigation section of Jackson Walker’s Austin office. Tori graduated in the Top 10 of her law school class at Baylor Law School with a Special Distinction in Litigation in May of 2020. While at Baylor Law School, Tori won several awards for legal advocacy, including the “Mad Dog” trophy—awarded to the best trial advocate in Baylor’s Practice Court competition.
Tori participated in the Firm’s Summer Associate Program in 2018 and 2019. She also served as a legal intern for the Honorable Shashi H. Kewalramani in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Prior to law school, Tori worked for three years as a legal intern for the Oklahoma State University Foundation.
